The Scholars Program at Harvard University took advantage of the University's large and distinguished faculty and its numerous research centers. Program Sites
Grants were made to the three participating universities in accordance with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s regular funding guidelines. Under the Program the universities provided Scholars with stipends, health insurance, expenses associated with the move to their fellowship site, and funds for a computer. Limited financial support also was available at each university for expenses associated with Scholar research, including travel. A flexible curriculum was implemented at each university to meet the educational needs and research interests of individual Scholars.
