Jennifer Klein awarded 2014 Hans Sigrist Prize from the Hans Sigrist Foundation at the University of Bern
has been awarded the prestigious 2014 Hans Sigrist Prize for her contribution to the field of "Women and Precarity: Historical Perspectives". The Hans Sigrist Foundation at the University of Bern presented Jennifer with the award on December 6, 2014 in Switzerland.
has been elected as a Fellow to the National Academy of Publication Administration in November 2014.
co-authored "How Johnson Fought the War on Poverty: the Economics and Politics of Funding at the Office of Economic Opportunity" in the Journal of Economic History (2014; 351-388). This article received the 2014 Arthur H. Cole Prize for best article from the Economic History Association.
was awarded the APSA's Race, Ethnicity and Politics Section’s 2014 Best Book Award for The Political Power of Protest: Minority Activism and Shifts in Public Policy.
received an All-University Teaching Award, also from the University of Virginia. Eric Patashnik (NAC member) received the University Jefferson Scholars Foundation Award for Excellence in Teaching from the University of Virginia.
