S. Michael Gaddis, Jr. receives a Spencer Foundation Grant and a Sage Foundation Grant

S. Michael Gaddis, Jr. (ext. site) (Cohort 20 — Michigan) 

receives two grants: one from the Spencer Foundation and the other from the Russell Sage Foundation to conduct field experiments on the outcomes of college graduates in the spring of 2016

Spencer Foundation study is titled: "Higher Education Credentials: Changes in Race and Gender Labor Market Opportunities over Time."

Sage Foundation study is titled: "Inequality and the Rising Tide: Do Better Macroeconomic Conditions Reduce Racial Discrimination among College Graduates?"

Dr. Gaddis is Assistant Professor, in the Department of Sociology at University of California, Los Angeles
