is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy in the Harvard Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. His research focuses on public economics and political economy. Most recently, he has written on the long-term impacts of education policy on earnings and other adult outcomes. His other work includes work on tax policy, Medicare, long-term healthcare cost-growth forecasting, incentive schemes in the public sector, and gerrymandering. Prof. Friedman received his Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University in 2007.
