Eligibility Criteria - Cohort 19 (2012-2014)
Field of Study
Program applicants must have received a doctoral degree in Economics, Political Science or Sociology during the time period noted below. Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously worked extensively in the areas of health or health policy research.
Receipt of Degree
Applicants must have received a doctoral degree, as noted above, after January 1, 2007 but no later than July 15, 2012. For those expecting to receive degrees in 2012, all degree requirements must be completed by July 15, 2012.
Citizenship
All applicants must be citizens of the United States or its territories or have permanent residency status at the time of application to the Program.
Additional Consideration
Applicants cannot be related by blood or marriage to any Officer* or Trustee of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, or be a descendant of the Foundation’s founder, Robert Wood Johnson.
*The Officers are the Chairman of the Board of Trustees; President and CEO; Chief of Staff; General Counsel; Secretary; and Assistant Secretary of the Foundation.
