is the Site  Director of the Michigan Scholars Program.  He joined the University  in 2008 as Professor in both the Department of Health Management and Policy and the Department of Economics. Previously, Prof. Norton had taught at UNC at Chapel Hill and at Harvard Medical School. His economics degrees are from Princeton (A.B.) and from M.I.T. (Ph.D.).  He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the American Society of Health Economists. In 2003, UNC at Chapel Hill awarded Prof. Norton the Phillip and Ruth Hettleman Prize for Artistic and Scholarly Achievement by Young Faculty.
